(Pressure Equipment Directive)
Directive 2014/68 EU aims to regulate the placing on the market of pressurized refrigeration equipment that may present a risk to property and people.
The objective is to establish common European requirements concerning the control of risks related to pressure equipment. Compliance with these products results in CE marking, authorizing free movement of the product in Europe.
UKCA marking
The UKCA marking is a new conformity marking requirement for products marketed in Great Britain. It declares that the product complies with British legislative requirements and that the appropriate conformity assessment procedures have been carried out (source France UL.com). From January 1, 2023 to sell a product on the British market, the UKCA marking is mandatory and the only one recognized.
Our pipes and equipment are designed and manufactured in accordance with the essential requirements of Directive 2014/68/EU “Pressure Equipment Directive (PED)” and the “Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016” (PESR).
This regulation applies to all pressurized refrigeration equipment and assemblies whose service pressure PS is greater than 0.5 bars according to the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014 -68-EU.
